A detailed look at the wedding look of Georgina Rodríguez, Cristiano Ronaldo's fiancée

The main star wedding of 2026 took place behind closed doors, without too much hype and a long list of guests — but we still found out some nice fashion details.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez got married. The wedding of the main football player of the planet, who loves demonstrative and loud gestures, nevertheless took place in the most personal format. The ceremony took place at the couple's home in Portugal, in the presence of only their five children. But there was still a big fashion moment. On this day, the couple was supported by partner brands from the VILED portfolio - Gucci and Chopard.

Georgina and Ronaldo love symbolism. The wedding took place on August 11, 2026, the tenth anniversary of their first meeting. The couple met at the Gucci boutique in Madrid, where the footballer went shopping at the height of his fame, and Georgina worked as a consultant. Therefore, the choice of a brand for wedding images turned out to be almost predetermined. The newlyweds decided to honor this moment and ordered wedding dresses for themselves and their five children from Gucci.

"It was incredibly special to dress Georgina and Cristiano at this moment, knowing that their love story began in a Gucci store in Madrid," Demna, creative director of Gucci, told Vogue. "There's something very romantic about it—a beautiful vicious circle, almost a modern fairy tale."

Georgina herself wanted the clothes to match the intimate nature of the ceremony. Instead of the traditional fluffy wedding dress, she chose a rather strict white silk tulle suit with a skirt and jacket, complemented by satin shoes with Horsebit branded detail. The last thing she wanted, according to Georgina, was to "turn a house ceremony into a theatrical production." The white silk Gucci set conveyed a sense of casual elegance — exactly the way the bride wanted it. "I wanted something intimate—just with my partner and our children, at home," Georgina explains. — Because castles, houses, islands, horses, cars — all this is available to us every day. But something intimate is much more unusual for us."

For Cristiano Ronaldo, Gucci sewed a light beige cotton suit and prepared custom loafers.

And yet Georgina is lying when she talks about a modest and "everyday" image. Just look at the jewelry she was wearing at that special moment. This is a real piece of high jewelry art! Chopard necklace, bracelet, and earrings from the Garden of Kalahari collection. In the center of the jewelry is a 50-carat round-cut diamond in D color and Flawless purity. The contrast between Gucci's minimalist silhouette and the dazzling diamond made the jewelry accent even more expressive.

The Garden of Kalahari was created by Chopard Creative Director Caroline Scheufele around a unique 342-carat diamond. The raw stone was found in 2015 in a deposit in Botswana and was named Queen of Kalahari — "Queen of Kalahari". Scheufele personally traveled to Africa to see the find, after which Chopard purchased the stone. It took about 3,200 hours to work with it. The result is 23 diamonds of exceptional purity and color, five of which weigh more than 20 carats.

The five largest stones became the basis of the jewelry "garden". For example, a 50-carat round-cut diamond blossomed into a precious sunflower, a 26-carat heart—shaped stone turned into a viola, and a 25-carat pear-shaped diamond turned into a banana flower. The collection is also complemented by a bracelet with two emerald-cut diamonds, two rings, and a secret watch.

Happiness to the young!
