Acne Studios and Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle meet at the crossroads of fashion, fragrance, and art. Since their inception, both houses have been driven by a desire to forge a new aesthetic—drawing inspiration from photography, architecture, culture, and design—and have applied these creative principles across everything they do: from boutiques to garments, from fragrances to bottles. Frédéric Malle and Jonny Johansson, founder and creative director of Acne Studios, have always taken alternative paths, embracing a multifaceted vision of art and a belief in absolute creative freedom. This shared philosophy has led to a unique collaboration: Acne Studios and Frédéric Malle. A partnership born from the shared values of both houses and their founders. The fragrance is a modern interpretation of a classic aldehydic structure. Aldehydes appear from the very first breath—pure, crystal-clear. Their concentration, up to 1%, lends them lasting radiance. This intense sensation is tempered by the sweetness of flowers. Rose and violet form a union that doesn’t deny a certain classicism, while orange blossom plays a joyful, luminous melody. At the heart of the bouquet stands an incense note, whose mineral freshness amplifies the aldehydic echo. Then comes a striking contrast: a subtle vanilla, far from excess, softened by creamy sandalwood and a hint of delicate peach skin. Finally, a signature of modern white musk clings to the skin, evoking the gentle caress of a beautiful, endlessly comfortable mohair sweater.
