GIORGIO ARMANI introduces ARMANI CODE EAU DE PARFUM, a new compelling and luminous fragrance housed in the iconic refillable ARMANI CODE bottle. This new fougère-ambery spicy scent opens with the multifaceted freshness of green mandarin and evolves into a spicy-woody heart of nutmeg essence. At its base lies a rich and warm tonka bean absolute, highlighting masculine sensuality. Top notes: Armani Code Eau de Parfum opens with a fresh and vibrant green mandarin essence sourced from Italy, giving the fragrance its distinctive tangy effect. The essence is obtained by grinding mandarin peel under running water, after which the essence is separated from the water. Heart notes: The heart of the fragrance is composed of a warm and spicy nutmeg essence. Extracted from the fruit of nutmeg trees, the essence is obtained through a careful process of drying and steam distillation to create its warm, spicy, and woody character. Base notes: A warm, sensual masculinity unfolds in the base notes, highlighting the richness of tonka bean absolute. Creating a honeyed tobacco note with milky facets, the tonka bean absolute is derived from the fruit of the Dipterix odorata tree. The fruits are collected immediately after falling from the tree and undergo a drying process that allows the coumarin molecule to develop, giving tonka beans their characteristic scent. The absolute is then obtained through solvent extraction.
