Fragrance

I met Dominique in 1988 at Roure Bertrand. Even then, he struck me as a free spirit. His extraordinary skill, honed over the years, allowed him to bring any olfactory whim to life. We trust each other so much that we often begin working on a fragrance without a precise plan or set goal, relying only on the hope that our exploration will lead to something intriguing. One such creative adventure led to the creation of Portrait of a Lady. Both of us are great admirers of Geranium pour Monsieur. We are particularly fond of the accord at the heart of its fresh composition. So, when we set out to create a modern oriental scent, we chose that accord as our foundation. The original base included benzoin, musk, sandalwood, and patchouli. But very soon, we decided to shift the proportions — we removed the sandalwood, increased the patchouli to one-third of the formula, and added a white musk accord to give the composition a more feminine character. — Frédéric Malle The hair mist can be used on its own or layered with the matching eau de parfum to enhance or prolong the scent. It leaves a soft floral veil on the hair and is remarkably economical in use. Presented in minimalist beige-toned packaging, the hair mist makes for a unique and elegant gift.
