VOLU family products are recommended for the care of fine or soft hair. VOLU formulas contain turnip extract from Caprauna, grown as part of the Slow Food Presidium program. Rich in minerals such as phosphorus, iron, and calcium, as well as vitamins A, B, and C, the formula helps give hair density and volume. The municipality of Caprauna is known for its vast ancient stone terraces. In the past, farmers grew turnips on the same land where wheat had been harvested in order to rotate crops and prevent soil depletion. Thanks to the elevated terraces and the cool, humid climate, the turnips matured under optimal conditions and developed an especially delicate flavor. The turnips are supplied by Signora Donatella Ferraris’ farm in Caprauna, Cuneo province.
