Madonna's style at the Dolce&Gabbana show, spring-summer 2025

Singer Madonna flew to Milan Fashion Week, spring-summer 2025, at the invitation of old friends - the designer duo Dominico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. At the show, the legendary performer appeared as if in the image of a Sicilian widow - covered from head to toe in black weightless lace. The new collection of the Dolce & Gabbana brand spring-summer 2025 is “copied” from the best images of the legendary singer of the early 1990s. “Madonna has always been our icon. Thanks to her, a lot has changed in our lives and careers,” Dolce and Gabbana comment on their tribute to the pop diva.

On the catwalk, every model without exception wore curly platinum blonde wigs. The singer wore the same hairstyle during the Erotica album. We are talking about the fifth studio album by American singer Madonna, released on October 20, 1992. The track list includes: "Rain", "Fever", "Bye Bye Baby" and "Bad Girl". The promotional campaign dedicated to the release of the record was very provocative. The singer demonstrated her sexual liberation even on the cover, which is often called one of the sexiest album covers in the history of music.

Dolce&Gabbana reimagined some of the clothing items associated with Madonna from that period. For example, satin corsets and midi dresses with plunging necklines and garters. With the exception of a few models with floral prints, almost the entire spring-summer 2025 collection is made in black and white using satin and lace.

At the end of the show, Dolce&Gabbana designers took to the podium not only for the standard bow, but to kiss and hug the artist, who celebrated her 64th birthday and 40th career with them this summer in Italy.
