VILED buyers talk about home design trends after visiting the most influential exhibition in the field of interiors, home decor and furniture in Paris.

The beginning of the year in Paris traditionally becomes a place of attraction not only for fashion insiders who flock here for men's shows and couture, but also for connoisseurs of the best interiors. For more than thirty years, twice a year - in January and June - the French capital has hosted one of the most prestigious exhibitions dedicated to interior design - Maison &amp; Objet. In 2025, the winter event brought together over 2,400 brands from all over the world.

Buyers from VILED's most comfortable division, Home&amp;Gift, were among the guests at the Paris exhibition and are personally sharing their impressions.

5 INTERIOR TRENDS 2025

1. Color: chocolate

The connection between Fashion Weeks and interior design events may seem far-fetched. But in fact, many trends &mdash; in colors, fabrics, and styles &mdash; overlap. In 2025, one of these trends was brown. The dominance of pleasant chocolate and coffee shades among fashion designers coincides with the passion of interior designers for dark types of wood, &ldquo;tobacco&rdquo; textiles, and smoky tableware. Another such trend is velvet. This material is still popular both in clothing and in furniture upholstery. The perfect combo is brown velvet, which creates a rich and relaxing atmosphere.

In addition, one of the main discoveries of the year was the retreat of interior designers and brands from gray and beige minimalism and monochrome in favor of bolder palettes. Among the favorites are cobalt blue, fuchsia and terracotta. The boldest update the walls, painting them in rich colors. But even small accents - candles, dishes, accessories - can transform the space and have a positive effect on the mood. It is also worth mentioning the American designer Jonathan Adler, with whom we are planning to start a pleasant collaboration soon. His bright and eclectic decor masterfully combines elements of Art Deco and modern style.

2. Classic: Lladr&oacute;

The Lladr&oacute; brand is one of the main regulars at Maison &amp; Objet. Guests visit the luxurious and large-scale stand of the brand on the very first day of the exhibition, demonstrating not only business respect, but also sincere curiosity. This year, Lladr&oacute; once again surprised with the variety and uniqueness of porcelain products, in which traditional craftsmanship is combined with modern design. Among the new products, it is worth noting the Ephemeral Treasures collection, created in collaboration with the graphite artist and artist Antonio "Dulk" Segura. Another outstanding series is the A Bright Idea lamps and all kinds of lighting fixtures, this time with a relief pattern in the form of feathers and oak leaves.

3. Nature comes into the house

Nature at Maison &amp; Objet was presented in two forms: sensory and visual. Organic materials &ndash; linen, cotton, wood and stone &ndash; continue to hold the lead in the luxury segment, surpassing any &ldquo;synthetic&rdquo; innovations. These elements not only set the aesthetics, but also create a space close to nature. It is important to choose such materials not only with your eyes, but also by touch, because their texture plays a key role in creating coziness.

Another big trend is the unbridled riot of plant motifs. The thicker the greenery and the brighter the flowers on the textiles, the better.

4. The East dominates.

The Far East, China and Japan are back in fashion, but now in a more refined and detailed form. At the same time, African motifs are making a comeback in interiors, demonstrating a growing interest in ethnic elements.

Decorative items with cultural roots and unique stories are becoming an important part of modern interiors, while remaining relevant and stylish.

At Maison &amp; Objet, two stands particularly attracted the attention of decorators and buyers: the Italian brand Pinetti and the Belgian brand Baobab Collection.

Pinetti is known for its premium leather accessories. Among their latest creations are coffee tables and coffee machines covered in soft terracotta-colored leather, hand-woven covers for coffee pots and mugs, and designer baskets from the Granada series.

The Belgian Baobab Collection specializes in exclusive scented candles and diffusers. Their scents transport you to a Moroccan spa or the coast of Madagascar, evoking the most pleasant associations.
