Escentric Molecules owes its existence to the aromatic molecule Iso E Super, which does not exist in nature. It was created in the laboratory of IFF in 1973 and soon gained widespread use. It is particularly valued for its enveloping, cocoon-like effect, and can be found in many men’s and women’s fragrances. When young perfumer Geza Schoen first smelled this molecule on its own, something clicked inside him.
