One of the most unique niche fragrance houses is the French brand Mancera. In 2007, Pierre Mancera opened his only boutique to date in Paris. To create his original scents, the perfumer turned to Arabic traditions. He used rare natural ingredients from exotic countries and traditional artisanal techniques to craft fragrances with incredibly long-lasting sillage. The specially designed cosmic glass bottles are hand-decorated and protect the perfumes from light, preserving them for up to five years. Mancera’s collections include mysterious oriental compositions as well as citrus and fougère fragrances. For example, Cedrat Boise by Mancera features notes of white cedar, complemented by citrus and fruits.
